Thayer Hall is the brand new function space, architecturally designed to complement the historic Thayer farmhouse to which it is attached. The hall features a private entrance into a large open room with warm wooden walls and floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a wide, gracious patio with panoramic views of the sloping lawn, the enormous spreading beech tree, and adjacent pond and park. Along with the views, the see-through gas fireplace is the focal point of the room, visible from both the hall and the patio. Thayer Hall can be configured to seat a maximum of 100 people at tables or 120 people in row seating.
Tucked behind the hall is the professional caterer’s kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment. It has several warming ovens, professional appliances, and plenty of preparation and serving space. The hall features an alcove at one end, which can be used as a bar area or as extra serving space. Spacious men’s and women’s restrooms complete the space.
