On September 23, 2026, an American Sycamore tree was planted and dedicated in honor of long-time Medway Trail Club and Open Space Committee member, BettyAnn Wickis.

Surrounded by family, friends, and community members, her husband Jim planted the tree along the trail system, about two-tenths of a mile from Lovering Street. Among those present to pay tribute were members of the Medway Trail Club and Open Space Committee, Medway Conservation Agent Bridget Graziano, and Parks Superintendent Steve Carew. The new sycamore serves as a living tribute to BettyAnn, honoring her many years of dedicated service and lasting contributions to the Town of Medway.
