Join author Margaret Asante for a special reading of Yaa Asantewaa: The Warrior Queen, a children's book inspired by the courageous Queen Yaa Asantewaa and her defense of the Ashanti Kingdom. This story introduces young readers and families to an important piece of West African history while exploring courage, leadership, and standing up for what is right. The program will take place following Family Yoga with Katie from Sprouting Tree Yoga.
