Medway officers responded to a reported assault by firearm at 180 Village Street this evening. The suspect barricaded himself inside the home after the victim fled upon arrival of our officers. A perimeter was established, mutual aid was called in from the Millis Police Department and the suspect was taken into custody after a standoff. The suspect was removed from the scene. Officers will remain on scene as the investigation is ongoing. There is no active threat at this time.
