The Town of Medway, Department of Public Works, seeks qualified candidates for the
full-time (37 hours per week) union position of Heavy Equipment Operator in the
Highway Department.
The position primarily involves road maintenance and repair; operating all light and heavy department equipment, including but not limited to front-end loaders, street sweepers, snowplows and sanders, backhoes, and trucks. Drives and operates assigned motor equipment following all applicable regulations and safety practices. Repairs
catch basins and potholes. Prepares roads for paving.
