
This morning state and local officials celebrated the start of the Glen Brook Way affordable housing development with a groundbreaking ceremony. The development, located at 31 & 33 West St., is being built by Metro West Collaborative Development and financed with a mix of private, state, and town funding. Phase 1 will provide 48-affordable family apartments. Phase 2 will provide 42 age-restricted affordable apartments. A special thank you to Senate President Karen E. Spilka, State Rep Jeff Roy, Selectmen Glenn Trindade and all the members of the Affordable Housing Committee & Affordable Housing Trust and Members of the Board of Selectmen for shepherding the project.
