The Town of Medway's, Department of Public Works, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator in the Highway Department. Responsibilities: Road maintenance and repair; operate all light and heavy department equipment including but not limited to front-end loaders, street sweepers, snowplows and sanders, backhoes, and trucks. Qualifications: High School diploma; two (2) years of highway construction experience, including heavy motor equipment operation; snow and ice removal; or equivalent combination of education and experience; valid Massachusetts’s Class B Commercial Driver’s License and all Hoisting Engineer’s Licenses required to operate a complete line of department equipment, Class A preferred or the ability to obtain required licenses within the first 6 months of employment.
