Master Plan Committee Meeting - Monday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m.

What is a Master Plan? A master plan is a dynamic long-term planning document to guide a community’s future growth and development. A master plan includes analysis of existing conditions, visioning of desired futures, goals, and recommendations for the community’s economy, housing, transportation, community facilities, land use, historic, cultural, and natural resources, and open spaces.

The first meeting of the newly created Master Plan Committee will be held on Monday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. The agenda items include the organization of the committee, the selection of a Chair and Vice-Chair, and the introduction of all members. The meeting will also present the project’s consulting team, its’ roles, master plan fundamentals, a project schedule, a plan for focus groups, upcoming community outreach event, and the project website. The meeting will end with an interactive activity for the Committee members. Residents are invited to attend. For additional information, check out the Committee’s web page.
