Phase III is Achieving Medway Tomorrow. This is the phase when action plans and implementation strategies are being brainstormed and developed. A wide array of action plans and implementation strategy ideas have been generated as a result of the community outreach efforts during the past year, the discussions at Master Plan Committee meetings, guidance on best practices from our master planning consultants at JM Goldson, and intense conversations held during March by 75 people organized into 4 focus groups.
In April, we are reaching out to the community, once again, to seek its feedback on some of the strategy ideas. The project team has established an online community engagement platform for your use. It explains the strategy ideas which are organized into 12 categories ranging from open space to Route 109 development, affordable housing to recreation, sustainability to municipal facilities, and more. Find the platform at this link: https://tinyurl.com/MedwayStrategyPlatform
You are invited to visit this website and offer your honest feedback. You will be asked to rate the strategies from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) based on priority and importance to you.
This online community engagement opportunity is available through April 30th.
I hope you will visit the platform, listen to the video directions, and review and respond to the various strategy ideas.
Also, I ask that you help inform others about this community engagement opportunity. Flyer. Please forward it to Medway friends, family, and neighbors and encourage them to visit the site as well.
The results from this input will be used to further refine the strategies that will be incorporated into the Master Plan to shape Medway’s next decade.
