Medway Lions Club Christmas Tree Sales start Saturday, November 26

And let the tree sale begin! The Medway Lions Club will, once again, hold its annual Christmas sale to benefit community activities and needs, Massachusetts Lions Eye Research, and various other Lions charities.

Beginning Saturday, November 26, through the week leading up until Christmas, or until sold out, the Lions sale at Medway Plaza Shopping Center on Main Street in Medway will be open weekdays 3:30pm-8:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 am-8:00 pm.

Balsam and Fraser fir trees will be delivered the day after Thanksgiving from a tree farm in northern Maine. With the able-bodied assistance of the Medway hockey team players, the trees will be unloaded and stacked the day after Thanksgiving.  Trees are placed in stands for customers to view upright. The trees range in size from 6-8 feet to the largest trees standing close to 14 feet tall. Tree Life, a preservative to keep the trees fresh, is also available for purchase.

The Lions will also be collecting adult and children’s coats/jackets for the Coats for Kids program. A drop-off bin will be available, and donations taken to Anton’s Cleaners.

Lions’ members and Medway High School peer counselors and other volunteers are available to answer questions, assist in providing a fresh cut to the trunk and trimming branches, as well as wrapping the trees, and helping to put/tie the trees either on top of/or in vehicles. Lions’ members are also available to talk to if anyone is interested in joining the club.

Thank you to all who help support the Medway Lions!
