Chief of Police Bill Kingsbury is advising all Medway residents that the overnight parking ban is now in effect. In a change from previous years, the chief advises that vehicles may be parked on the road overnight unless snow removal efforts are needed. Vehicles parked in public ways which impede snow removal will be ticketed and may be towed. There is no end date attached to the overnight parking ban, as it will be in effect whenever snow removal needs to occur.
