It was a big day at the Medway Police Department!
Today, we celebrate four teammates whose dedication, character, and service have made our community safer and stronger. Please join us in congratulating them and thanking their families and mentors who’ve supported them every step of the way.
Lt. John Meincke: Promoted to Lieutenant
From his early days in our communications center to leadership roles across patrol, investigations, and administration, Lt. Meincke has poured his heart into mentoring officers and serving Medway. He’s led specialty units, taught new recruits, and shown up—day after day—for this community. We’re proud to see him step into this next chapter.
Sgt. Paul McLaughlin: Promoted to Sergeant
Sgt. McLaughlin brings a rare mix of calm on the street, care for our students, and technical know-how behind the scenes. Whether working with kids as an SRO, supporting our tech systems, or riding with our motorcycle unit, he’s the steady hand you want on your team.
Sgt. Meghan Casey: Promoted to Sergeant
Sgt. Casey is a servant leader through and through. From dispatch to patrol to key collateral roles, she’s been a trusted voice for fairness, inclusion, and doing the right thing—especially for those who need it most. We’re excited to see her lead and continue building trust in our community.
Patrolman Tom Sicchio: Newly Hired
Welcome home, Officer Sicchio! Tom began with Medway in dispatch before gaining patrol experience elsewhere, and we’re thrilled to have him back in a blue Medway patch. He knows our town, our values, and our commitment to service.
To Lt. Meincke, Sgt. McLaughlin, Sgt. Casey and Officer Sicchio: Thank you for choosing this calling and this community. Drop your congratulations below and help us celebrate these milestones!
