
On Sunday, September 24, the Medway Village Food Pantry presented sixteen Medway residents with President's Volunteer Service Awards. The residents were of all ages, including teens, young adults, adults, and seniors. The ceremony honoring the incredible dedication of the volunteers took place at 12:30 pm at the Medway Food Pantry, located at 170 Village Street.
Susan Dietrich, Executive Director of the Food Pantry opened the ceremony by thanking the sixteen service award recipients for dedicating over 4,900 volunteer hours over the last year. "This is an incredible achievement, and we are so grateful to this amazing group. We thank State Representative Jeffrey Roy, Medway Select Board Chair Glenn Trindade, and Susan Calhoun Nicholl from Senate President Karen Spilka's Office for joining our celebration." Susan Dietrich.
