Yesterday (Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2025), representatives from Meehan Realty Management Corp., a Mendon-based development company, met with Town officials to share that they will be submitting a formal development plan after the first of the year. The plan will include a full redevelopment of the area along Rte. 109 from the Mobile station to Elm Street. It outlines a mixed-use project featuring 267 residential units along with small-scale commercial uses, including a financial institution, a fast-casual restaurant, a general store, and a gas station.
If the permitting process proceeds as expected, construction is anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
