The contractor is finished with digging for the season.  They will spend this week cleaning up manholes and pipe on the side of the road.  Columbia Gas will be onsite patching a trench and Verizon and Eversource will be onsite connecting wires.  Work will cease for the winter and regular updates will begin again in the spring.
