At last night’s Select Board meeting, the Town officially recognized the incredible staff and campers of The Sunshine Group! 

Director Jessica Peck, Assistant Director Mark SanClemente, and Program Coordinator Jane Fraser shared what makes this unique, six-week inclusive program so special:

• Inclusion First: Built for students with and without disabilities, the program ensures everyone can access summer fun, shine in their own way, and be exactly who they are.

• Educator-Led: Run in partnership with Medway Schools, the camp features choice boards, sensory tools, and student-centered, play-based learning to maintain support all summer long.

• Fully Supported: Includes provided transportation with monitored buses, tailored sensory field trips (like adaptive movie experiences), and an annual talent show that boasts a 98% participation rate!

• CIT & Leadership Program: Trains future generations of educators, therapists, and social workers while boosting self-esteem and career readiness.

• New This Year: A collaboration with The Little Gym allowed campers to extend their day with afternoon activities!

The program runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at an accessible cost of $500 for Medway residents ($700 for non-residents) for the full 6 weeks.
