The Medway Department of Public Works has installed a temporary speed plateau on Coffee Street in an effort to experiment with this method of traffic calming. The plateau is removable which will most like occur prior to snowstorms.

The town is seeking feedback on the efficiency of the plateau as well as its effect on the quality of life in that neighborhood as it relates to traffic.

Permanent plateaus must be installed during the paving of a roadway. This temporary effort should give the town the information needed to make future decisions related to the permanent installation of plateaus in areas of concern.
