It was a big day in the Medway Police Department. Sgt. Jason Brennan was promoted to Lieutenant, and Officer Anthony Nigro was promoted to Sergeant. There was standing room only in Sanford Hall at 3:00 pm today during the swearing-in ceremony conducted by Town Clerk Stefany Ohannesian. Lt. Brennan & Sgt. Nigro was supported by Select Board Chair Dennis Crowley, Select Board member Maryjane White, their families, and colleagues, as well as an entire swat team! Notable moments included the pinning of Lt. Brennan by his Dad and the pinning of Sgt. Nigro by his son. Chief Kingsbury and Town Manager Michael Boynton praised their hard work in their respective positions and congratulated them on their well-deserved promotions.
