In a ceremony held on Veteran's Day, Town of Medway Officials read a proclamation naming the Town of Medway, MA to be A Purple Heart Town. What does it mean to be a Purple Heart Community? Becoming a Purple Heart Community pays tribute to U.S. service members who have been injured or killed in combat, and is also meant to demonstrate the community's support for veteran-related legislative initiatives. A Purple Heart is awarded to those who have been wounded or killed in action while serving in the Armed Forces. #VeteransServices
