The Highway Department would like to make residents aware that reconstruction of the West Street bridge will commence tomorrow, July 29, 2021. Please be advised that the contractor will be on-site, the road will be closed, and a detour enacted.

We anticipate that the road will open on October 1 assuming there are no delays in the work (please note, the opening is dependent on if weather pushes back the work) .
