Anytime you receive a notice concerning a bill and you believe you have paid the bill, you should contact the Collector/Treasurer's office.  Your payment may have crossed in the mail with the notice or your payment may be insufficient. You want to assure that the MVE bill is paid in full to avoid additional charges and flagging for non-renewal of license and registration at the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
