The Senior Tax Workoff program is a rewarding program where eligible seniors can have temporary jobs with the town or school government and obtain money off their property taxes. 

The current rate (July 1 2023 - June 30 2024) for the Medway Senior Tax Work off is $15.00 an hour for 100 hours a year.  This will allow participating and eligible seniors to gain credit offset on their property taxes at a maximum benefit of $1,500 a year. This is the maximum allowed under the law. 

Eligible citizens must be of 60 years of age or older and a resident of Medway MA.

Citizens can apply at any time through the year. Everyone must apply yearly by coming down to the Center and filling out a form.
