Fran Hutton Lee recently accepted a newly created position, Database Technician/GIS Specialist. This position is responsible for the management, coordination, and development of database systems including GIS operations for the Town of Medway. Fran will coordinate mapping systems, inventories, and principles to provide information for all departments and ensure access to GIS information systems.
Prior to this new role Fran has served the Town of Medway as both a Data Clerk and Administrative Assistant since 2007. She has also previously worked for the City of Attleboro. Fran has also worked as a literacy, computer, and ESOL/ABE instruction. Fran holds a BA from Houghton College in Houghton, NY; a Masters Certificate in GIS from Northeastern University; and a Certificate in Local Government and Leadership Management from Suffolk University.
Jill Karakeian recently assumed a new role in Town Hall. After two years as Administrative Assistant for the Department of Public Services she accepted the recently vacated position of Administrative Assistant for the Building and Health Departments. In her new role she provides support and customer service for both the Building and Health Departments, located on the first floor of Town Hall.
Prior to joining Town Hall Jill served in a variety of administrative roles for private companies and the Town of Bellingham. She is also a Notary Public. Jill and her family live in Bellingham.
