On Wednesday, August 30th fellow officers, retired officers, family, and Town officials gathered at the police station to celebrate the promotions of new Lieutenant McSweeney and Sergeant Meincke.

Lieutenant McSweeney began his career at Medway Police Department in 1982 and has steadily taken on new responsibilities and been promoted since then.  Sergeant Meincke joined the department in 2005, holds a BS in Criminal Justice, and serves as an instructor of CPR, firearms, and Taser.
