Easy Walks in Massachusetts

Presented by Marjorie Turner Hollman

Thursday, September 15th, 7:00 – 8:30 pm

Cole Room, Medway Public Library

Wish you knew some new places to get outdoors with your family and friends? Come learn where you can find easy walking trails, great railtrails, beautiful views of the Blackstone River and short walks to sweeping vistas along the Upper Charles, and the Neponset River watersheds, places that are “right around the corner” from where you live. Local author and Bellingham resident Marjorie Turner Hollman will present a slideshow of photos taken along paths included in the 2nd edition of her book, “Easy Walks in Massachusetts,” a walking trail guide to 50+ trails in 16 contiguous area towns in south central MA. She will also share slides from walks included in “More Easy Walks” which detail great places to enjoy the outdoors in an additional 15 contiguous towns closer towards Boston. The walks in this book are all parent, grandparent and kid-friendly. Many of these trails are dog-friendly. Books cost $20 each and will be available for purchase after the event.

Marjorie Turner Hollman is a personal historian who loves the outdoors, and has completed two guides to Easy Walking trails in Massachusetts, Easy Walks in Massachusetts (2nd edition), and More Easy Walks in Massachusetts.
