The Medway Police Department received funding at last year’s Annual Town Meeting to purchase 7 heart defibrillators. The unit were delivered on September 12th and put into service immediately. All Medway Police Cruisers are now equipped with defibrillators. Officers receive certification and training in CPR and the use of the defibrillators every year. These units will increase lifesaving abilities when responding to residents who have gone into cardiac arrest.
