The Route 109 Transportation Improvement Project construction has ended for the winter season.  The work this year has been focused on installation of new drainage piping.  All areas excavated have a temporary patch to carry through the winter.  All intelligent traffic detection has been disabled due to the excavation and the major intersections have been left on timers for the winter. 

Work will resume next year in the spring.  That work will primarily be changes to the road width and slopes.
