The next Select Board meeting is Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Town Hall, 155 Village Street, at 6:30 pm. The meeting will start with an Executive session to consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property to decide if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the public body (Oak Grove Urban Renewal Plan), the introduction of our new DPW Deputy Director Nolan Lynch, joint consideration of library trustees, approval of the change of manager application for the off-premises of wine and malt license at Ocean State Job Lot. A discussion/vote will be held to accept the warrant article with proposed zoning bylaw amendments for accessory dwelling units, and a discussion/vote will be held on the composition of the municipal complex building committee.
